Introducing people

It is not enough to greet people and ask how they are; one also needs to introduce oneself and find out what their names are. The purpose of the following example is to help you do just that. It is sure after you learn these words you will begin introducing people and yourself.

  • Yes, I think we have.
  • No, I don't think we have.

  • Hello, ... (name)
  • Nice to meet you. (informal)
  • Pleased to meet you.
  • How do you do? (formal)
  • Nice to see you.
  • Nice to see you again.
